We’re excited to have Arianna join Gina, Allison, and Mariah in our Communications department as a Communications Designer.
Arianna de la Mancha is an artist, writer, sex educator. With a natural eye for design along with a passion for inclusive, queer sex education, they bring a unique blend of creativity and expertise to nonprofit communications.
Arianna holds a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Sexuality Studies from San Francisco State University. They have experience building community engagement through copywriting, social media, graphic design, and educational workshops across various university programs along with up-and-coming sexual wellness digital platforms.
She aims to become a certified sex educator to further bridge the gaps in U.S. sex education, ensuring that today’s youth have access to resources and support she sought after in her own coming out journey.

In their free time, you’ll find them rewatching The Birdcage or To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar, or cuddling with their cat, Simone. Arianna loves to laugh, so if you want to let your inner silly out, you’ll be in good company, and she will most definitely be your best audience.

We asked Arianna what they wished they had learned in sex ed growing up but didn’t, and she shared, “I wish I learned that sex can be pleasurable and doesn’t necessarily have to involve a partner. Through my work as a sex educator, I’ve been able to unlearn the harmful sex education I received in my youth, and confidently redefine what sex means to me. If I had learned about masturbation, I probably wouldn’t have engaged in partnered sex as young as I did nor feel pressure to replicate what I saw in porn. Though I can’t change my experiences, I aim to promote sex-positivity in everything I do and provide people with resources, so they can make informed decisions about their bodies and intimate experiences.”
Some of her favorite Fall activities include making soup, sipping on a glass of Witches Brew (from Trader Joe’s) and watching a nostalgic spooky movie like Halloweentown or Hocus Pocus with a cozy blanket. They also love visiting their local HomeGoods or T.J. Maxx to smell candles and look at all the decorations that they never end up buying.
Welcome to the crew, Arianna!
