Jennifer gets excited about research that impacts communities, contributes to undoing oppressive systems and is rooted in liberatory practices.

Jennifer has dipped their foot and body in many fields like policy advocacy, participatory action research, political organizing, facilitation and youth engagement with immigrants and first-generation students.

Jennifer can be found on hikes or walking their young dog, “Oso” (Bear but in Spanish), hunting for Taylor Swift’s Easter Eggs, and rewatching Abbott Elementary episodes…too much.
